The Rotary Club of Charlottetown Royalty held their major fundraiser last
Thursday evening. Their Back to School fundraising event raised
an estimated $30000.00 for the St. Jean Playground Project. There was live
entertainment, live and silent auctions and lots of fun classroom themed
activities and prizes. We are so
grateful to have the Rotary on board with St. Jean - what a wonderful
partnership. A big thank you to all of
the Rotarians who came together to make this night a huge success. Woohoo!"Let Them Be Kids" is a volunteer, non-profit organization created to build community capacity on the grassroots level; while building playgrounds, skateparks, and fitness parks across Canada. These projects leave a legacy of community members who are inspired and better equipped to lay a strong foundation for a brighter tomorrow.
